Child Health Safety and Nutrition Resource Guide
welcome
This resource guide is brought to you by Vanessa Trinidad
The completion of this project is a culmination of select lesson activities from ECD 220: Health Safety and Nutrition of the Young Child, an online class offered by Arizona State University:
"This course presents an emphasis on providing proper nutrition, promoting a safe but challenging learning environment, and becoming knowledgeable of children’s health status. Practical applications for assisting young children to develop good habits and attitudes and to assume lifelong responsibility for their own well-being are emphasized during this course." -ECD 220 Syllabus, Course Description
As part of the project, the selection of an age group was required. Although the information offered here is tailored towards Toddlers, much of it is applicable to other age groups. Links to outside pages are also offered, where even more information may be found. Enjoy !
